Slim Pickings
What can I say, its been a slow summer on the bouldering front. I’ve hardly been out on gods rock due to weather, lethargy or other commitments.
I’ve been pulling on plastic a fair bit, but thats hardly interesting blogging material. I’de like to say i’m now some mega beast, but sadly its not true.
June and July can be summed up like this. Turned 30 had a mid life crisis and took up skydiving. Awesome!
Curbar – 30 degree evening session, sweated up Strawberries – felt nails until the sun went down then walked up it. Slimed off Gorilla Warfare while been eaten alive by midges. I fucking hate midges.
Roche Abbey. Repeated Borg or Crystal I can’t remember which, got pumped and scared to death soloing some easy thing, figured out I don’t have the wingspan for sharks tooth. Generally climbed like a retard. Depressing.
Climbed indoors, fairly decently after loosing my honeymoon weight, feeling back on form-ish. look less like jonny vegas more like jonny bravo.

Got a new snap pad, The Bun..I like buns. Got some new shoes, Scarpa Instinct. to replace my tired looking Anasazi Blanco’s. Psyched for some dry weather so I can get back outside and work on my ever expanding to do list of great looking lines.
